Bude and nearby Beaches
There is definitely something special about the beach, being near the
sea, the sand and the rocks - the wild edge of the land, where we return
to the the great expanse of the sea. We are reminded of our origins and
place. Next to the land, we can be free. We can leave things behind and
relax in our own time. Here the time goes with the tides and waves at
the passing skies. The rocks slowly make their way to the sea to fade
away in memory.
Beaches are places where we can play and laugh happily, like our
children reminding us just to be.
There are many sandy beaches some out of the way and some hard to get
to these are the ones most accessible, you will not be disappointed by
seeking out any of these beaches. Over a few days take a drive and visit
a few of these classic cornish beaches. Some have pubs nearby.
